Please briefly describe your current job
I am currently a Senior Enterprise Customer Success Manager at Persefoni. Persefoni is a software used by companies looking to measure & manage their carbon emissions - my role is to directly support & guide companies using our software. I spend most of my time working directly with companies all around the world, understanding each company's unique climate obligations & goals, and helping achieve & measure success across many data points using our software.
What is your favorite part of your current position
In my current role, I get to interact with so many inspiring companies and individuals. So many people are doing such great work around the world to understand and mitigate climate-related risks. I am so fortunate to work alongside so many world changers! Earth and atmospheric sciences are all around us all the time! I constantly see EAS in action in my day to day life - at work and outside of work.
How did your EAS education prepare you for your current job?
I have a MS degree in Geosciences from Penn State that has further advanced my EAS education. I have also found it important to regularly research, learn, and stay fresh on the latest key concepts in software & technology, and in climate-related regulation & policies.

My EAS education serves as the strong foundation for much of my current work. My work in environmental science & greenhouse gas cycling started first with GT EAS. I also greatly appreciate some of the broader science education I received through EAS as well - data analysis, science communication & presentation, and technical problem solving have all been so important to my career.
What do you wish you had known as an EAS undergraduate in order to land the job of your dreams?
I find that I am now more comfortable with taking risks, trying new things, and making changes to evolve my career. How will you know if you have found your dream job if you haven't tried a few?
