Kate Williams

Kate Williams is an Environmental Science major with a minor in Public Policy, graduating in December 2026. She is passionate about sustainable transportation, climate policy and urban sustainability. This summer, she is interning with Clean Cities Georgia, where she supports the transition to alternative fuels through stakeholder engagement, transportation policy, grant implementation and the development of outreach materials and program metrics. Kate also serves as the Political Outreach Officer for Georgia Tech College Democrats. She has served as a Sustainability Ambassador for both the City of Atlanta and Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business, promoting sustainability initiatives and community engagement. She has also worked as a student consultant with EPIC Intentions on community impact projects for nonprofit organizations and was a Marketing Coordinator for Jexim, a startup developing sustainable pavement materials. After graduation, Kate hopes to pursue a career in the clean energy sector. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking and exploring new restaurants.
