Katie Griffin

Katie Griffin is a senior Environmental Science undergraduate minoring in Biology. She’s currently conducting research with Dr. James Stroud, studying intraspecific habitat use in Anolis lizards. Outside of research, she’s the president of Students Organizing for Sustainability, where she can be found gardening and encouraging people to pay attention to local environmental policies.

Rowan Ray

Rowan Ray is a fourth-year Environmental Sciences major with a minor in history, graduating in May 2026. She is currently conducting research in Polar Geophysics Simulation Lab with Dr. Winnie Chu and Dr. Eliza Dawson. She presented her research findings at the American Geophysical Union in December 2025. She is currently head TA working in the EAS 2600 Lab.  Rowan has received multiple scholarships from national organizations. After graduation, Rowan plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Glaciology and Geochemistry.

Anna Liu

Anna Liu is a third-year Atmospheric and Oceanic Science student, interested in snow and fire weather dynamics. She was a student intern at the National Weather Service this fall semester, and helps forecast as a student assistant for GTPD's Office of Emergency Management. She is also StORM Club's finance officer and a WxChallenge participant.

Grant Holly

Grant Holly is a fourth-year student majoring in Solid Earth and Planetary Sciences. He is interested in planetary geology, remote sensing, and glaciology. He currently works in Dr. Indujaa Ganesh’s lab, focusing on lunar remote sensing, and has previously worked with Dr.

Ashton Sims

Ashton Sims is a fifth-year Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences undergraduate major pursuing a Sustainable Cities minor. Ashton is currently completing her third semester of her Co-Op with Delta Air Lines Meteorology Department. In her time at Delta, Ashton has learned the importance Meteorology plays in aviation safety and developed her computational skills to verify different forecasting products to better help in accurate forecasting.

Sylvia Chan

Sylvia Chan is a 4th year Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences undergraduate major with a focus on oceanography. Her specific interests lie with paleoclimatology and paleoceanography via coral geochemistry and current circulation.  She currently researches at Dr.

Allie Hearn

Allie Hearn graduated in May with a degree in Solid Earth and Planetary Sciences and a minor in Physics. Her academic interests center on geophysics, with a particular focus on seismology. During her time at Georgia Tech, she worked on several research projects exploring intraplate earthquakes in the Eastern United States and participated in seismic fieldwork to study confined aquifers, gaining hands-on experience with geophysical data collection and analysis.
