Katie Griffin

Katie Griffin is a senior Environmental Science undergraduate minoring in Biology. She’s currently conducting research with Dr. James Stroud, studying intraspecific habitat use in Anolis lizards. Outside of research, she’s the president of Students Organizing for Sustainability, where she can be found gardening and encouraging people to pay attention to local environmental policies. She’s also the TA for two VIP’s, STEMcomm and Living Building Science, where she helps fellow students conduct and communicate science. In her free time, she loves hiking, reading, watching bad reality TV with her friends, and playing with her cat. After graduating in May, she’ll be starting a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Virginia Tech.
