Rowan Ray is a fourth-year Environmental Sciences major with a minor in history, graduating in May 2026. She is currently conducting research in Polar Geophysics Simulation Lab with Dr. Winnie Chu and Dr. Eliza Dawson. She presented her research findings at the American Geophysical Union in December 2025. She is currently head TA working in the EAS 2600 Lab. Rowan has received multiple scholarships from national organizations. After graduation, Rowan plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Glaciology and Geochemistry. Rowan enjoys travel, running, reading, crocheting, and participating in local animal shelters’ “Dog for the Day” programs.
