Please briefly describe your current job
As a Principal Consultant, I apply my organization, teamwork, and leadership skills to help clients design and implement privacy and GRC solutions that comply with regulations and standards. I have a Bachelor's degree in Earth & Atmospheric Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which gives me a unique perspective and analytical ability to solve complex challenges. I am passionate about privacy and data protection, and I strive to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of my clients.
What is your favorite part of your current position
My favorite part about my current position is the problem solving aspect. I receive unique use cases from clients and have to solve them on a daily basis.
How did your EAS education prepare you for your current job?
My favorite thing about EAS was being able to apply real time events to concepts we learned. Weather discussions about active hurricanes or severe outbreaks were my favorite. Part of my job is setting up ESG programs for companies and EAS was a major factor in allowing me to do this. For other projects that are privacy or GRC related, the problem solving and analytical skills GT and EAS taught me have played a big role.
What do you wish you had known as an EAS undergraduate in order to land the job of your dreams?
Networking is everything.
