Victoria Phillips, 8th grade Earth Science teacher at Summerour Middle School. "Before the GIFT experience, ozone and photochemical smog were basically terms in our textbook. We briefly discussed what they were and how they harmed us. After working on this project, these terms became 'real' to me. As a result of this experience, I will provide activities for my students that will enable them to understand more fully what causes the photochemical smog they experience and what each of them can do to help reduce the problem.

Driving from Hartsfield International Airport (south of downtown):

1. Take I-75 / I-85 North to Exit 250 (10th Street / 14th Street / Ga Tech)
2. Turn left onto 10th Street.
3. Turn left at the 5th traffic light onto State Street (Campus Entrance).
4. The Engineered Biosystems Building will be on your left.
5. Visitor parking is available in the parking deck directly behind the building.
